Marija Krkovic is a producer from Belgrade, Serbia. At 17, she left home in pursuit of new educational opportunities and adventures, a decision that led her to the United States and deepened her passion for storytelling, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
She recently earned her B.F.A. in Film & Television from Savannah College of Art and Design, where she focused on producing and also founded the Women in Film Club, an organization dedicated to supporting emerging filmmakers and creating opportunities for diverse voices within the industry.
As a producer, Marija is passionate about bringing ambitious creative visions to life. Her primary focus is film and television, with a particular interest in stories that inspire, challenge perspectives, and foster meaningful connections. She is especially drawn to projects that highlight underrepresented voices, explore cultural experiences, and encourage audiences to engage with the world in new ways.
Beyond film, Marija enjoys collaborating with artists, cultural organizations, and creative teams on immersive experiences, exhibitions, and live events that expand the possibilities of storytelling. Whether producing a film, a museum installation, or a community-centered project, she is driven by a belief in the power of stories to connect people and create lasting impact.
